Second-generation REALTOR®. Former Marketing Director. Lifelong Grand Strand Local.
My first stop home from the hospital was my dad's real estate office. I grew up inside brokerages, listening to deals being made before I understood what a contract was. My family has deep South Carolina roots — seventh-generation landowners on a farm outside Camden — so land and place were part of my language early. Real estate was my environment long before it became my identity.
I fell in love with visual arts in high school and left for college to study it, certain I'd end up somewhere bigger than a beach town. Life had other plans. After a season of profound loss and a serious health crisis, I came home to Myrtle Beach — and at the time, it felt like failure. It wasn't. It was a recalibration.
I found my footing behind a camera. A photography job became a partnership, and for years I traveled the world shooting commercial, editorial, catalog, and wedding work — building websites for businesses along the way. Eventually, I burned out. Not on the craft, but on an industry that kept asking me to compromise my standards. Creativity without alignment isn't sustainable.
Around that time, my dad was opening a general brokerage. With 32 years in real estate behind him, he asked me to build it under my creative direction. We launched with something no other firm was doing — a print publication that told the story of this place. It grew from a newspaper into a magazine mailed to 20,000–40,000 homes a month, reaching more than 100,000 readers. That single strategy helped scale the brokerage year over year — from $1.4M in sales in 2016 to $68.5M in 2024 — and I led the marketing behind $365M+ in homes sold.
I earned my license in 2019, became a mom in 2022, and in 2024, I stepped fully into my own — as a REALTOR® and as Myrtle Beach Megan. Every skill, every detour, every reinvention led here: to helping people make one of the biggest decisions of their lives feel clear, strategic, and even a little easier.
Today I help buyers and sellers move confidently along the Grand Strand — with a marketer's strategy, a photographer's eye, and a local's knowledge of every stretch of this sixty-mile coast.
